This is the first time I have send 5 boxes from USA to India . First I was very skeptical which shipping company to choose but I am extremely happy I chose Universal Relocations. I have received my boxes in good condition and within the stipulated time. Their communication was clear throughout and kept me updated through email on every stage of the shipment. Mr. Akshaya was very flexible to our requirements during the delivery of the boxes to the final destination.Overall I can say a very good team , efficient customer service and safe handling of goods. Recently used Universal Relocations for my move from US to India. They are the most recommended agency on /returntoindia reddit threads. They answered my enquiry and questions with clarity and gave detailed instructions on the how tos. I had small shipment of 4 boxes.

Pros: everything from the point of me sending the boxes to them in the US to the point of me receiving them in India including customs was taken care of impeccably. ( I did not ship electronics). I had some glass kitchenware (with bubble wrap) shipped and they arrived after 3 months of jostling in the box unbroken. Also the boxes themselves were not showing signs of any wear and tear other than some dirt as expected.

Cons:
Packing and initial delivery to the fedex office with generated labels was on my own. Not a con on the service but it is an inconvenience to deal with for smaller shipments.

Altogether it was a very smooth experience with prompt communication and updates on the status of the shipments.

I liked the service provided by Universal Relocations for our US to India move. Both the US and the India teams were prompt and helpful. We received weekly updates while our package was in transit. I was never worried where my package was. Midhuna and Krishna from the US team helped us from the stages of getting us a quote until our package got picked up. Krishna walked me through the process of preparing the package for pickup. He provided detailed instructions on preparing the packages, printing and affixing the fedex lables etc. Once the package reached India Sharmila was very responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond her duty to coordinate with the US team to make sure we received our package on the day we requested. Overall I felt I was in good hands with respect of shipping my stuff overseas. Thanks again Universal relocations!
