OMG. Go! It’s not just pizza. They’ve innovated the pizza shop. Driving for hours to MA from GA I was getting hungry. I saw a sign for a franchise sub shop I love. So I turned off and headed that way.
2 doors down I glanced into the window at V&J Pizza. Having been to few real pizza stops, I could tell right away I stumbled on gold.
By the slice, perfect crust and fresh. No single flavor over powered the others in combination toppings.
THIS is what a real pizza shop is. Lots of veggie options as well. Very nice people perfected their craft of making excellent pizza and were generous enough to share it for a very modest price.
What a gift V&J Pizza is.

Everything about this place brings me back to my childhood. I always come in here when I come back home to visit. This is the essential Jersey pie. Sure, there all kinds of pizza available nowadays, but this is classic and perfect. Thin crust, just the right amount of sweet sauce to stick to the crust and allow the cheese to weld in place as well. Just as ice cream is always judged by its vanilla, pizza can only be judged by the plain cheese version. This is it. No embellishments needed. This is pizza perfection.
From out of town and asked what sub place was the best - this place was recommended and I'm so very glad it was - this sub is beautiful and warm and delicious- not to mention hefty!! 10/10 and if I didn't live 8 hours away I'm sure I would be a regular!
Very good slice of Pizza here. People were nice behind the counter. They have been making Pizza since 1969, so they know how to make Pizza for sure. This Slice worked well together. Everything from the sauce, cheese and crust was a perfect blend. Will rate well on the Pizza Hunters App in Morros County. I would go back again when in the area. Would like get a hot Pie out of the oven next trip.
Amazing cheese slices, buffalo chicken wrap was average at best. But the pizza was awesome
A lot of seating but kind of crowded i noticed 8 ovens so they just get slammed at times so all that seating may be for a purpose. Big fan will be back
