My daughter has been seeing Carmen for about 5 years now, through most of her teen years. She struggles to talk about her feelings, but Carmen has created a relationship with her in which she feels like she's talking to a friend rather than a therapist. He understands the teenage mind and through his type of therapy, she has overcome different challenges and has developed a new mindset that will help her succeed in life.

My teenage son has been meeting with Carmen over the past 4 years and cannot say enough good things about him! He is a very respectful counselor,, super friendly and have created a great relationship with my teenage boy. I can always rely on Carmen if there is a crisis situation with just a phone call away, Now that we are going through some stressful moments for the younger people I have my son do virtual video session with Carmen,, which are so convenient because of Covid-19. I highly recommend Carmen because my teen is less stress and calmed during this difficult time that we have been thorough.

Carmen is an incredibly kind, compassionate therapist for children. He understands the social strata they live in and the demands that today's children are under to perform, both academically and socially. He speaks to every child in a way that lets them know they are responsible for their actions, while coaching them on how best to navigate their complex lives. From a parent perspective, you are very much in the loop of your child's therapeutic process with Carmen, while honoring the child's privacy and trust.

Carmen is a warm, kind counselor with practical guidance for both parents and children. He takes the time to truly listen and has an easy going demeanor.
