Outstanding concert location with Super Trans Am performing there. Absolutely beautiful by the bay! Will go again next year for certain.

The Veteran's Park allows an impressive view of the Newark Port. I have taken very nice shots from it during the daytime and at night. It counts with several fields for sports like baseball and football.
It's one of the few places where you always find where to park, even late at night.

Discovered Veteran Park in Bayonne through Google Maps, and it's truly a hidden gem! Nestled near a high school, the serene atmosphere provides a perfect escape. Enjoyed a peaceful stroll, soaking in the scenic Bayonne Harbor views, calming waves, and the beautiful sky. A great spot for personal time, relaxation, and connecting with nature. Highly recommend for those seeking tranquility and a pleasant environment. 🌳🌅

Bayonne City has some beyond wonderful parks. Being a peninsula city; surrounding water. These parks have it all in their own unique way. My personal favorite is Veterans Park. Long and expanding. The nature sounds, the hidden lil beach with ample beech wood.
The fishing, the trees, the greenery! They even have a built in work out station. A playground for the kids with sprinklers and now with the expansion a gazebo for shade and more walk paths.

Ample benches, trash cans and NATURE SOUNDS. Constant spots of blissful sun and shade for whatever you prefer.

Such a blessing, gift and wonder.

This is my nearby park. I do bike loops here to keep fit, the place is kept clean, and whenever the little beach gets too dirty we try to clean it. I take pride in the park as I am also an active military member. The small kid’s park is ALWAYS being used and the kids enjoy the water fountains. You can see a lot of families using the water’s edge to fish. Overall great spot to relax.
