I brought my son in for the first time for his visit and Dr Tariq & Jasmine was awesome. They worked well together. My son was happy. Jasmine was really nice & made my son feel comfortable. I would recommend them. Thanks see you soon
So glad I took the recommendations and switched my daughter to Westfield Pediatric Dental Group. After 2/3 failed attempts at fillings at another practice where my daughter was absolutely distraught, gagging and upset, I was really stressed about getting the work done. I decided to find recommendations for another place before resorting to anesthesia. I didn't have high hopes but we did a consolation and a few sealants and she did so good. I was feeling better about our first fillings visit. They walked me through their set up for anesthesia in case we needed it as well. For our first fillings visit, my previously impossible kiddo, was able to sit for the whole appointment without crying or fighting back. The assistant, Martha, was amazing and kept her totally calm the whole time. Dr. Walk was also amazing! knew exactly how to talk to her to distract her and keep her calm, was not mad when she had to take a break or cough or anything. They made it super manageable. We have a few more appointments to go and I can breath a sigh of relief.
Our 4 year old has a lot of dental work that needs to be done and Westfield Pediatric Dental group has far exceeded our expectations. After a failed procedure at another practice, we were referred to Dr McCabe to do her dental work under general anesthesia. Like other practices, I was expecting them to just push us towards general anesthesia especially after she had a failed attempt. However, Dr McCabe and his assistant Martha were very confident about working with young kids and they gave us the option to try it with just laughing gas and local anesthesia first. I was honestly a bit skeptical myself given the bad experience she had at the other practice but since they were willing to try and seemed so competent I agreed to give her a try. From the start every little step they took and everything they said to her was well thought out and made her extremely comfortable. They did one step at a time without putting much pressure. They put some numbing cream on her gums and I was expecting her to scream with the Novocain shot but she didn’t twitch or cry at all. I don’t think she even knew she got a shot. Dr McCabe had really good skills and they have great technology, TVs on ceilings etc to make the process easy. As a result, she was extremely cooperative and finished the whole procedure without fussing. This was night and day compared to the experience she had with another pediatric dentist. We had to come back for a second time for her other teeth. Dr McCabe knows that her teeth needed to be treated urgently and made himself available the next morning just so he can see her. He was originally planning to be off that day. It really shows how he really cares about his patients and can make time for something urgent. The second treatment she did even better. The whole procedure was almost 90 minutes long and she again felt really comfortable with them and did great. Dr McCabe and Martha are really miracle workers and I am so thankful they gave her a chance without the need for general anesthesia, which would be a lot more money and added stress for the parents. For simple stuff like cleanings any pediatric dentist can do but for these more complicated things like fillings, crowns, pulpotomies etc it’s so important to go to a very experienced dentist with top notch facilities like theirs. It makes every difference.
Last but not least, their entire staff, manager Christina, is so friendly, competent, and phenomenal. I cannot recommend them enough!
I had a wonderful experience at the office when I brought my 6-year-old in for tooth pain. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Ms Martha was ready for us right away and went above and beyond to make both of my sons (and me!) feel comfortable. She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and treated my son with so much care before, during, and after the procedure.
Dr Walk was equally amazing—very knowledgeable, gentle, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Dr Walk took the time to explain the situation and my options very clearly and answered all my questions. She did a fantastic job with the procedure and keeping my son calm and comfortable, which made a big difference for us.
Everyone in the office was helpful and kind. I’m so grateful we were seen the same day and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a great pediatric dental team
I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care my son received at this dental practice. My son is on the spectrum, and Dr. Tariq and her two staff did an absolutely amazing job keeping him calm and comfortable throughout the visit. She was so engaging, patient, and understanding. She even made him feel special by rewarding him as “Patient of the Day,” which truly meant a lot to him (and to us!).
The procedure itself was swift yet incredibly efficient, and my son left feeling satisfied and happy which speaks volumes. I’m so blessed to have had such a compassionate and skilled doctor caring for my child. God bless her and the entire staff for their professionalism, kindness, and outstanding service. Highly recommend!!!!!!
