Yumy Platter

This is absolutely the best place you can eat in in Pemberton. The lamb platter is so good, I moved to CA and have been searching for a replacement for years.. nothing compares. I stop in every time I'm back to JBMDL. Please go there and enjoy this food for me.

I’ll give it ten stars if I could. Incredible Gyro & Platter Spot — Flavor Packed and Worth Every Bite

If you’re on the hunt for bold flavors, generous portions, and a truly satisfying meal, this gyro/platter spot should be at the top of your list.

I went with the mixed platter over rice and it hit every mark. The meats were cooked to perfection: juicy, well-seasoned, and with that perfect smoky edge. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, and the toppings fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickled veggies balanced the richness beautifully.

But what really pulled it all together? The sauces. The white sauce was creamy and cool, and the hot sauce had just the right amount of kick without overpowering everything else. Pro tip: ask for extra on the side — you’ll want it.

Service was fast and friendly, even during the lunch rush, and everything was made fresh to order. The portions are huge (definitely enough for two meals if you’re not starving), and the prices are super reasonable for the quality and quantity.

Whether you’re grabbing takeout or eating on the go, this place delivers comfort food with serious flavor. I’ve already added it to my regular rotation.

Highly recommend — especially if you’re a fan of that classic style platter or a solid gyro wrap done right.

First time here and I was pleasantly surprised; I didn't know it was a sitdown as well as a takeaway. There was plenty of table and counter seating, and everything was clean. I was greeted and given an ETA of my food, which was spot on for the 15 minutes they promised.

I had the Monster Gyro (Lamb, chicken, and falafel) and the shrimp. The lettuce was still crispy when I got home, the proteins were evenly portioned, and the spicy sauce had just the right amount of heat. The gyro itself held up well for the trip home.

I've had Gyros at several places up and down the state and this one is a contender for my taste.

It’s a very prime location with a nice clean eating area and quick service. Unfortunately, that’s where the praise stops. The food while presented very well was a bit lackluster for taste according to this pallet. The falafel seemed a little bit dry and the sauces seemed generic and premade. There’s a lot of potential with the menu, but it’s going to take a huge transformation to want to partake again in Yumy Platter wears.

Sooooo delicious! I got the spicy chicken & lamb mixed platter and it was PERFECT. Spice was good and not too much. Veggies were super fresh, meats were soft and tender and rice was soft and fluffy. Customer service is also top knotch! Can’t believe it’s only my first time trying this place! I will definitely be back!
