I was alarmed at the bad reviews for almost all the food in this terminal - but this spot was pretty good. Yes, it's overpriced, but you're in an airport, and extortion is kind of their entire deal. Yes, it's bizarre that you have to pay and tip before you get your food. But my server was nice and fairly attentive, the place was clean, and I wouldn't be mad if someone served me that rigatoni again.
This is a nice spot to eat and drink while you wait for your flight. Our server Naz was very tentative and polite, providing an overall great experience.
Food and drinks are pretty good too.
JFK Terminal 5 has a variety of food options, but Aeronuova isn't the best pick. The food is frozen, low-quality, and pricey - normal for an airport restaurant. For two appetizers, two drinks, and one salad, it came to over $100. I don't mind paying the prices if the food quality is up to par. The only redeeming factor is that the service was awesome.
Diana our server was outstanding. She went out of here way to make sure everything was perfect.
The food was good but I was still hungry after eating a spaghetti and meatball.
They charge you $23 for that plate and don't include no salad or nothing. I had to eat my kids grilled cheese left over to kind feel full. So in another words, don't expect to get full with one plate, or might be because I'm a man. Also I noticed that after I left the restaurant, they sent me receipt with the tip that they decided to take. Because when you order with your phone, you have to pay so they could bring your food, and there is no question asking how much you would like to tip.
