Dr. Decker is the best. I got a very throughout examination and she took the time to explain everything. They have the latest technology where she was able to examine my eyes without having to dilate them. I was able to get my yearly supply of contacts and new glasses. Very pleased with my care there!
This place has some of the cutest glasses in this entire area. I made the mistake of going to Sterling Optical for my daughter‘s glasses before checking this place out. I almost felt physically sick when I saw that I could’ve gotten two pairs of glasses for what I spent at Sterling Optical. Don’t make the same mistake! Everything about this store is better: they’re open longer. Better frames. Better prices. I even think the people are friendlier and more knowledgeable. As long as I live in New York, I’ll be going to this location for my glasses
A gentleman adjusted my glasses for me so that they fit better and more comfortably. He did so with extra care not to break them, as they already had a slight crack on the part that goes around the ear. These glasses are about ten years old and are not from American Vision, and the gentleman fixed them promptly and free of charge. I am very happy with his kindness and good service and wholeheartedly recommend American Vision to anyone in need of eyeglasses.
Today 6/18/24 was my first time visiting the vision store. I encountered a kind woman who fixed my glasses in less then five minutes. I was so shocked and impressed by her excellent customer service skills, her ability to work so fast that I asked for a card with her name on it. Little did I know she was Dr. Decker. Just from the amazing service I received, I will be returning for my eye exam, and purchasing glasses from American Vision of Lynbrook. Thank you again Dr. Decker!

I was there on December 29, 2023. The Doctor is very knowlegeable, patient and have a great sense of humor.
Regina helped me pick the best glasses and was Not pushy, which is greatly appreciated, she has the best attitude and great sense of humor. And in less than two weeks my glasses are ready.
