I went there to buy Konjac rice. When I saw in Instacart that they carry Konjac rice, I rushed in immediately to buy as many as I can. But unfortunately they didn’t have those.
They have mostly Jamaican and other African products including fresh produce.
Parking was available.
I love the upgrades that they are currently doing, way more organic options to choose from, things I would have to go to whole foods for I now find them in here!! Maybe they can add organic vegetables and organic/ pasture raised meats (chicken, beef). Nevertheless it's great improvement.
If u r looking for good customer service not American food basket. I live in this neighborhood all my life and over time u would think the customer service would improve but no u have to deal with disrespect spending ur money. It depends on the manager in the store that day. The cereal man always has a attitude for some reason. The sandwich man need sandwich sessions. This store use to be known for extra long sandwiches. I know, my mom used to buy them for work, it was a hit. Im telling u the deli food use to taste good and now it just something they put together to make a dollar. The good days of Mets before it became American food basket was a family store with love and respect for the customer. Work on customer service American food basket.
I don’t know how to say this or where to say this at so I guess I’ll say it here hopefully someone hears me ,but I think the store need something for the employees so we can leave feedback especially for good Employees where they can get like gift cards or something nice
I love this store I was wondering why on Google I had it save on favorites/go to and haven’t been in this area in quite awhile and it explains it all this store is amazing ✨
