This was one of those shopping trips that resets your expectations for what customer service is supposed to be.
Michelle and Todd at ShopRite were outstanding in a way that felt sincere and effortless. From the moment I interacted with them it was clear they were not just doing a job. They were paying attention. They were proactive warm and genuinely invested in helping. They repeatedly offered to walk my groceries out to the car and it did not feel obligatory or scripted. It felt like they actually cared that I got out the door easily and safely. That level of consideration is rare.
What really stood out was watching Michelle help a single mom picking out gloves and hats. She was completely dialed in patient kind and responsive to what that moment called for. No rushing. No checking out mentally. Just presence and empathy. It said a lot about her and about the culture of the store.
Beyond the people the selection is excellent. Seeing items like Dumpling Daughter on the shelves shows that this ShopRite is thoughtful about what it carries and is willing to offer more than the basics.
Because of this experience I honestly do not feel a need to shop anywhere else. When a store combines great products with people who clearly care it earns loyalty the old fashioned way.
One final note. I would love to see the pineapple kombucha from GT added to the lineup. If that shows up this place might actually be unbeatable.
ShopRite absolutely earned a lifelong customer today.
Michelle and Todd delivered customer service that felt genuinely human and rare. They did not just help. They cared. They were attentive present and completely tuned in to what was happening around them. At one point they were practically insisting on walking my groceries out to the car. Not in a scripted way. In a we actually want to help you way. That is above and beyond and it mattered.
What really stuck with me was watching Michelle interact with a single mom picking out gloves and hats. She was patient thoughtful and fully engaged. No rushing. No performative friendliness. Just real empathy and awareness. You could tell she was reading the moment and responding to it. That kind of awareness cannot be trained easily. It comes from character.
On top of that the store itself has an excellent selection. Finding items like Dumpling Daughter on the shelf was a pleasant surprise and shows real intention in curating products not just filling space.
I do not see myself shopping anywhere else after this experience. ShopRite earned my trust and my money going forward because of people like Michelle and Todd who make it feel less like a transaction and more like a community.
One small request. Please consider carrying the pineapple kombucha from GT. That would be the cherry on top of an already outstanding experience.
Outstanding, especially customer service. The one and only cheerful and helpful Amber. But there is one who stands out. Maria, who is an angel, disguised as a cashier. Her service is phenomenal and genuinely impressive. My husband and I will never forget her. Tears are dropping from my eyes because I am once again human again.
This review is primarily for shop at home these shoppers really need a class on picking meat because what I paid for certainly I didn't get! Very often I can't even rely on asking them to shop for anything meat related cause it is never what I order. Look at recent pictures of what was supposed to be a porterhouse steak can you say meat glue or something I would not order any more meat except for package meat again 😔 TERRIBLE!
Grand opening occurred I attached photos of the design. I like the upcoming wine and liquor section and the convenient location of the restrooms and coffee machine at the front of the store. The grab and go section is strategically located as well at the front side of the store and makes it easy to self checkout afterwards. It’s very bright to see all stocked items with prices and like items labeled accordingly. The aisles are easy to read as well to facilitate directions. The outdoor shopping cart drop off is well placed. My only complaint is the sour smell in the air hopefully management can address that issue with time. Hopefully it’s just new construction smell.
