Apex Rehabilitation and Healthcare

My husband came to Apex about 2 weeks ago for rehabilitation before an upcoming surgery. He is in the sub acute unit as he has some challenging issues while he rehabs. When we arrived I thought the room was a little old but as time ticks on I have come to learn that that doesn’t matter and it’s really not that bad. Overall it’s a nice place and it’s clean. The nurses are great, great physical therapy group, the maintenance guys are on any issue that needs attended to and the management is very nice and interested in making sure everything is going as needed. I would mention names but there are so many and I wouldn’t want to leave anyone out. It’s a pleasant place for what we’re going through. I appreciate all the care we’re getting here.

I was recently at Apex to visit a family member and was very impressed with how attentive the nursing staff was , especially Gina the Dir of Nsg. Gina was professional , kind and warm and took the time to answer my questions about my Aunt , even though I could see she was very busy handling things.
I had a lovely visit with my Aunt in the sun room and also met Stephanie , the Assistant Dir of NSG , who popped in to say hello and introduce herself! Stephanie was very friendly and reassuring towards my Aunt.
I left Apex that day feeling confident that my Aunt is happy and well taken care of there!

I have been living at Apex since 2021. I would recommend this facility to other people for many reasons. I enjoy the food, they serve a wide variety of different things. The recreation department keeps us occupied with all sorts of activities including BBQs and live entertainment. The rehab gym is great and has lots of different equipment. Annmarie from social work is wonderful and helps me with many different things. Lina from recreation is especially nice and keeps me busy. Apex’s housekeeping department is also wonderful, they clean the whole building thoroughly everyday.
