Very nice and neat restaurant hiding in White Plains. The grouper is very fresh with good price. The octopus is excellent, better than the one I have at Fish Gourmet. The rice stew with shellfish is just fantastic.
We looking for a place to dining in, this was the best selection yummy 😋😋😋😋. I would definitely recommend it. And I will come back again.
Probably one of my favorite restaurants - I've been going here my entire life (30+ yrs). The shrimp + cognac sauce (appetizer) and a steak are non-negotiables, though I switch it up between the sirloin and ribeye with shrimp. The roast potatoes that come with the steak are soooo good and unique. Anything else added in is great too -octopus, asparagus, prosciutto + melon, shrimp cocktail. I'm not a huge clam fan, but my family loves the steamers. Manny, Elaine, and Tony are all wonderful and always make you feel welcome. Longest standing restaurant in Silver Lake for good reason.
Amazing! Delicious food with exquisite flavors designed for international palates. Highly recommend!!
The restaraunt looks small from the outside but it's huge inside. It's very well decorated with Portugal contents, which was adorable. (See pic) The servers were very professional but still remained personal with us. The ambiance inside gives off vibes like the restaurants over seas which was a nice feeling. The food... we all had different feelings in regards to the food. Personally I thought my food was delicious. I had the puree of vegetable soup as an appetizer and following I had the grilled fish. All their meals comes with fries, rice and beans; which was enough for me to share with my Gf bc it was such a huge portion. My husband and one of our bf's both had steaks and they weren't too pleased as it was filled with fat. For appetizers we also tried clams casino, and melon with prosciutto. For dessert I had rice pudding one of my favorite Portuguese desserts. I would come back.
**+by the way, the owner will be closing the restaraunt in two years, retiring and moving back to Portugal. If you want to try this place come before he shuts down. ***
