Quite a few months ago I posted a poor review about a couple of slices of Sicilian that I had from Aversano's. They were terrible, dry like left over from the previous night. Today, I tried again because I used to love their Sicilian and I was hopeful. Happy to say the two Sicilian slices were very good again! I am thrilled because I missed going there for their Sicilian everytime I am in Brewster. The slices had an abundance of mozzarella and tasty sauce and cooked crispy. I hope the Sicilian stays great again in 2026!
Food is great! Eaten there many times, good for all groups with good children’s options. Prices are reasonable, the cookie skillet is one of my favorites! Food is great even for the pickiest of eaters!

Aversano’s does much of the catering at Candlelight Farms in New Milford. The food and service are fantastic, but the attention to detail and the team work is what impresses me so much. The owners, John and Paul will treat you like you are family and celebrate the event as if it were their own. Nothing goes unnoticed. They give 100% and more to make sure it is perfect. Great to find nice, old fashioned Italian food in a modern setting with great service! Everyone we met as we took our seats while we were late for our reservation was courteous and kind throughout our experience. At the end of the meal the Aversano brothers toured the restaurant and spoke to every table. I was suddenly transported to the classic restaurants of old where this was so common. Looking forward to many more enchanted meals! Oh, did I mention that the food was stellar!? 👍👍👍❤️😎
Myself and my family have been coming here for the past 4 years. Everytime has been a pleasurable experience. From the food to the service. Everything has been fantastic, and I plan to continue spending my time and money here. I dine in a lot on my lunch breaks, and I tell EVERYONE I meet to stop by and have a slice because it is so worth it. I have lunch dates with my husband here and often times bring my toddler for a mom and tot dates. Absolutely a favorite place to eat for us!
