It's still being worked on. It's a little getaway and a flip from what was there before. Yeah, it's next to Beach Channel Dr., it's the main strip in Rockaway. It's only about at low tide, about 30 yards from street to water. But it does have a wood dock.
Good place to walk your dog if you live in the area beautiful views.
Its basically public access to a small stretch of shoreline on Jamaica bay. Think twice before swimming here; the current is very strong.
Overall the area is ok, could use more development. That said, it’s great area to Kayak.
