I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Bayside Volkswagen! After visiting several dealerships where I didn’t feel comfortable — and even walking out of a few in tears because of how I was treated — walking into Volkswagen was a complete breath of fresh air. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel welcome and at ease. There was no pressure, no judgment, and they truly worked with my budget.

Vincent Chen and Angelo went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car. They were patient, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure I chose a model I felt safe driving. It was by far the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. I’m so grateful for their honesty, professionalism, and compassion. I’ll definitely be recommending them to everyone I know!

KYLE LIU was the Automotive Volkswagen Product Specialist for my search for the Jetta 2021 SEL. I was specifically looking for this type of model — Jetta SEL or SEL Premium in Metallic Blue or Jet Black/Night Shade, etc.

You see, my original VW Jetta 2012 diesel with the Harmon Kardon Speakers is/was a top-tier vehicle with heated seats and good speaker sound, etc. I was looking for something very identical with the identical amenities, yet upgraded. My VW Jetta diesel would have had at least $12,000 of repairs due to two oil leaks and replacing some of the inside engine parts related to the diesel engine, plus fixing the knocking sound. Since that would have been $12,000 of repairs, it made sense to put that money in a new car or new used car, etc.

I was looking through, for example, between 10 to 20 dealerships, give or take, searching the car ads/car websites — Autotrader, CarGurus, Google, and ChatGPT, etc. I would find close to my color of the Metallic Blue at other dealerships, yet those were only the SE version in the blue color, not the SEL version. If it was the SEL version in Metallic Blue, it would be over my budget.

Other colors that were popping up were white, grey, off-grey, etc. The next thing I was looking for was the price range — no more than $20,000 (including or not including taxes and fees, etc.), which I found at this dealership.

They had a Jetta SEL less than $20,000 before taxes and fees range for my budget. In other words, when everything was said and done, I did not want the walk-out-the-door amount to be higher than, let us say, as an example, $23,000 to $24,000-ish, give or take other fees that cannot be eliminated like license, title, and registration fees, etc., which worked out.

Next was the mileage. It was a black Jetta SEL 2021 with good mileage — no more than 26,000 miles as well. That was my mileage max, below 28,000 miles, etc. I called the dealership, and I was transferred to KYLE LIU.

I let him know I was interested in this car. Yet what I requested him to do was look over the car for me since there were some things on CarFax that I had questions about. I appreciated that he took the time to address the concerns on CarFax and assured me those problems were taken care of. When I requested that he send a video of the car with the Beats Audio Speakers playing and a video of the inside — that helped me make more of a decision to move forward.

That was key to me. I know what features I am looking for in a car for my car experience, like my past VW Jetta 2012. Basically “The Works.”

Also, once the amount of the car matched no more than $20,000, I put the metallic blue color aside I was looking for and went for the deep black. I figured I can wrap the car to the blue color later if I want and be creative with the inside color, etc.

The fun part is that the car has ambient lighting for a cool effect and vibe. Also, I was looking for heated seats and steering wheel since winter is coming, etc. KYLE LIU helped me verify these features of the car before I came in for the car. KYLE LIU was very helpful when arriving at the dealership, and he verified my wants and needs for the car. When I arrived, he met me with a handshake, and the car was ready in the front, all prepped and ready to go. After the test drive, he broke down the paperwork in simple form, and I liked that everything was prepared. The car process at this dealership was very smooth, not stressful, and easygoing. At some places or dealerships, it is not always like that.

The finance manager/business manager (Chris P) was great. He answered my questions to help me understand the warranties and what applied to my needs, etc. (Chris P) only educated me on the warranties I need for my specific driving situation.

Then met the sales manager Angelo A! He said cool fun jokes, made sure before we left all our questions were answered etc.

Also spoke with Gus on the Phone. He informed of the time for Registration and License Plate delivery etc.

    Thank you Bayside Volkswagen

Just leased a 2025 id.4 Pro Plus to take advantage of the EV tax rebate that is about to phase out. The process was very smooth and hassle-free from start to finish. Kyle was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient. He made sure we understood the complex electronics in this car and answered any and all questions we had. He walked us through the various buying and leasing options and helped us to pick the one that worked best for us. We traded in our old Toyota Prius V and Kyle made sure that the process of transferring plates and insurance went smoothly. We looked at the car on a Tuesday and drove off the lot in the new id.4 the next day. No hassles and no surprises. Couldn’t be happier with the service we received.

I recently purchased a '25 Tiguan SEL. I started the process at the end of April, and the car officially released in the US at the end of May. I was referred to Gus (Mikedis) by a friend, and he has helped me throughout the entire process. There was never a sense of urgency, and Gus remained professional during the entire process. He kept me updated real-time and gave me heads-up on what to prepare for in the future. Prior to this purchase, I've despised working with car salesmen (due to the stereotypes that exist within that industry), but this has definitely shed some new, positive light on the entire experience.

The dealership and the sales associate Gus Mikedis were informative about the VW Advantages while not being pushy or impatient. I’d honestly recommend anyone to go there for the customer service and experience. The experience felt easy going and as stress free as car buying can go.
