I love this Church. When my husband got sick they lived out the gospel in every sense of the word. They poured out their love, not merely with words, but in deed! Visits, meals, rent, babysitting! Finally in his last hour of life my Pastor and his wife brought my special needs son to say goodbye to my husband. Shortly after they left the room my husband passed from this life to His Heavenly mansion. They were still outside the room when I went to deliver the news. My pastor and Craig Hartman visited my husband almost every day in the hospital which was in Manhattan. I will always be grateful. Christ’s love in action here.
While considering returning to my Brooklyn hometown, and seeking a new church home, I and my ex-wife friend have been very impressed by the unconditional welcoming from the entire congregation. This is surely a Bible-believing church whose primary focus is not to grow the collection plate. What a breath of fresh air!
The learning there is great. Nice people. They serve lunch between sevices on Sunday.
This is a very special church in south Brooklyn, Sheepshead Bay area. Pastor Bickel not only has shepherded this congregation for many years but has mentored other pastors throughout the city. The church ministers to all stages of life and provides clear, practical Bible teaching.
