Been there a number of times. A good example of colonial and revolutionary times. Limited access, but do visit when open!
Awesome place to visit and hike.
Very small and somewhat inaccessible.
Nice to see how the middle class lived in Revolutionary America; most houses are of the upper class. Its also great to see the house lit with candles and with a fire in the fireplace; the houses managed by NY state don't allow fire.
