Very nice place got invited for a Christmas lncheon the food was good the dessert were delicious the rooms were very nicely decorated plenty of parking hrrat for any size event
Park is so relaxing breathtaking views and just calmness. Good place to go and meditate do some yoga and just unwind. Huge park too.
Way too expensive in pro shop. 40$ for a cart so they can interrupt my golf game (reasonable fees) with advertising! And 9 holes, cost... 28$...???
Hmmmm....
They know that these hills are killers, and of course if I can be a captive audiences, a PAYING CAPTIVE AUDIENCE and overcharged in the process, WHY NOT??
and maybe pull carts updated since the inception of park in 1934,would be nice. The biggest, 2 wheel, off balance, unwieldy carts I've ever rented.
Pro events give these minor civil servants hubris and make too big for their golfer's britches. You serve the customer not vice versa. Act as if they don't have to return, make them want to. Please. Course in good shape into Nov. Good.
Living right next to Bethpage State Park is truly a blessing. This park is absolutely beautiful, and it’s become part of our daily life — we take our dog Piper here almost every day for walks. No matter how many times I’ve been, it never loses its charm.
The park is filled with multiple trails, each offering a different experience. Some are peaceful and wooded, others more open with sweeping views, but all are gorgeous. Walking here often feels like being transported upstate — you’d never believe you’re still on Long Island. The views, especially during different seasons, are breathtaking.
There’s also so much more than just walking trails. The playground is great for families, and of course, the world-class golf courses are a huge draw. Bethpage Black is legendary, and the fact that the Ryder Cup is coming here in September speaks volumes about the quality of the course. Even if you don’t golf, just being around those perfectly maintained fairways is something special.
Another highlight is that the park connects to the 12-mile Bethpage Bikeway, which runs all the way from Massapequa to the shoreline. Whether you’re biking or walking parts of it, it’s one of the most beautiful trails in the region.
Bethpage State Park is more than just a park — it’s a piece of nature, history, and recreation all wrapped together. It’s gorgeous, peaceful, and endlessly enjoyable. Truly one of Long Island’s gems.
We had the best time at Bethpage!
My boyfriend played the Black Course and I walked with him, it was intense, beautiful, and so well designed
Watching him take on that challenge was unforgettable
I played the Red Course myself and had so much fun
It was still challenging but really enjoyable and well laid out
The whole experience, from the staff to the scenery was amazing
Can’t wait to come back!
