Dr Bergh and his team were absolutely wonderful. Having come to RMA in 2011 I was very new to the understanding and concept of IVF and all the different treatments it offers.
I was explained to in detail of everything from
ICSI, genetic testing and cryo preservative.
As well as was given guidance throughout the medication process of both egg retrievals.
I was then updated routinely was to the progress of the embryos till day 5 and genetic screening. Was well as when they would be put into cryopreservation.
Having only 2 of my 5 embryos were viable.
I was then given an in office meeting with Dr Bergh where we discussed in detail my concerns and chances of having a successful pregnancy as well as having one embryo or both transferred at the same time.
That said I decided to go ahead with the transfer of one embryo in May of 2013.
At 5 weeks 5 days I had a very large sub chorionic bleed. I did not know at the time what it was and thought I had a miscarriage. The team was extremely supportive and had me come in right away where they did an ultrasound scan. I was so very excited to hear my babies heartbeat for the very first time however I was still not out of the woods and wouldn’t be for 3 months.
The constant support of the team as well as increased scans and blood testing were scheduled during my first 8 wks helped me through that difficult time till I was safely transitioned to an OBGYN of my choice.
Again, I can not help but express my wonderful experience that would result in 2 beautiful and healthy babies.
My daughter now age 11 and my son age 9.
Dr.Bergh is the most fantastic patient centered doctor. We went to him after many failed cycles and he individualised our care. His communication is excellent and his nurse Jamie is the most amazing! We were very lucky to have him
I have never encountered a physician or professional better than Dr. Bergh. His attention to detail, problem solving, confidence, expertise is simply unmatched. He is kind, listens, and cares for his patients. During every experience with Dr. Bergh, I felt important. I had a 7 year journey of infertility and many experiences with other physicians and clinics. RMA and Dr. Bergh were completely different. I feel so fortunate that I finally found the BEST. I am ready to celebrate my son's 1st birthday tomorrow... and that is because of Dr. Bergh.
Dr. Bergh is the best. Period. I had a five year journey with infertility, (unsuccessfully) worked with 4 different clinics in 3 cities before finding RMA, and got pregnant with my daughter on our first attempt with Dr. Bergh. He and his team are patient and humble and treated us with so much respect and care. We got pregnant with baby #2 on our first attempt too and are now hoping for the best with this pregnancy. Don’t give up until you Go to RMA.
