Buck's Homestead Bed and Breakfast

This is s gem! Easy to get to, quaint little house. Wonderful breakfast provided. Joan is a lovely host. She gives you homemade cookies upon arrival. The rooms are comfy with robes provided and lots of things to choose from on the TV. You get your own bathroom.... it's just a great place to stay in a beautiful small town.

We had a lovely stay; Joan made delicious breakfasts and the cats were adorable. Super convenient access to Montgomery and the surrounding area.

This bed and breakfast is charming and comfortable, the rooms are well apportioned and the breakfast is hearty and sets you up well for a day exploring the Hudson Valley. The host, Joan, is hospitable to guests of all backgrounds and will try to accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have. Be sure to ask her about the history of the house and her time growing up her when it was a dairy farm.

My husband and I experienced a lovely weekend in Joan’s inviting home which is decorated with her family’s antiques and with love. Our room was so clean and comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked. Joan adds her special touch to every part of the home.

Wonderful long weekend at Buck's Homestead for our family. We reserved all three rooms. As our hostess, Joan Buck Smith prepared delicious, nutritious, and beautifully served breakfasts to start our day. The rooms and baths are spacious, clean, and furnished with antiques and hand made quilts. Having lived in the area most of her life, Joan is a wonderful guide, a knowledgeable historian, and can direct you just about anywhere. The friendly cats, Sunshine and Lucy, add to the ambiance. We highly recommend Buck's Homestead, and look forward to our next visit.
