It’s my neighborhood beach, quiet, clean bathrooms are kept very nicely. Lifeguards are on point. As far as swimming, I prefer the ocean not bay water..Dip to cool off maybe. Swimming? I prefer off the island completely. I go to Far Rockaway or Jersey shore. I do like the fact there’s less kids peacetime.. no offense to parents with little children. Nice trail to walk and feel safe which is a plus!
Not the cleanest water, sand is also dark and has a lot of pebbles, but beach itself is pretty good, has parking and bathrooms.
I mean it looks alright but if you're a local you know this beach is closed at least once a year for high levels of something harmful to health. Last year it was fecal matter. If you truly think this beach is clean then you aren't monitoring health alerts in the area
Beach is clean but water isn’t clean.
Parking available
Ladies washroom available
Life guards ✅
Nice clean beach. The family enjoyed themselves.
