Chan Fu

I usually go to another Chinese restaurant but discovered that this one doesn't cook with MSG, which is very important to me, and is a lot closer to where I live. I tried it for the first time tonight and it will be my last time. First off, they didn't have Chow Fun, which is what I wanted, so the guy suggested I could order Mei Fun and told me that the noodles are just smaller. Not true, they're totally different. I didn't enjoy that at all. Their crab ragoons barely have anything in them. DO NOT BOTHER. And about the MSG......with the way I felt afterwards, I'm not so sure they don't use it, so beware. One last thing. Don't go by the menu online or even the one that they have in the restaurant. Those are old, so the actual prices are more. I went by the menu online and thought my order was going to be around $40. It landed up being $60. SO NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!

New to the area and wanted to support any and all local businesses within my new town. I’ve tried several times in which each time a different item on the menu. Each time the food is okay or decent at best. I’m greatful to have them as an option as it close to home but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there.

After noticing how many reviews are either poor or downright bad I felt the need to stick up for this place! Yes - the atmosphere is a bit rough as they only do takeout and Covid definitely smacked this place upside down just like many other restaurants BUT this has been my favorite place to buy Chinese food for years! I love the service and I always choose this place to order General Tsos over multiple places in Middletown and the surrounding areas.
