This park isnt the nicest but there are some amenities to enjoy such as a playground, baseball field, and a basketball court. It's an ok place to jog around and spend an afternoon with kids.
I negative thing would be the condition of the pond, as it's covered in sludge amd smells like sewage. The town ought to restore the pond or destroy and replace it. There is also some poison ivy observed so be aware. Not a terrible park but the town needs to invest more into it.
Very nice, calming park, perfect for all ages, has ball parks, water lake to chill and relax and separate park for smaller kids ages 2-5 years, where the kids love it, highly recommended for all ages just to have a nice day!
I came here to clear my head one morning and I was pleasantly surprised!
-a calm park
-shaded walking trails
-I saw various animals
(Deer, duck, fish, turtles, and I think either a pelican or heron (it was gigantic and looked ancient)🤯)
-a shaded gazebo
-basketball court
-baseball field
The tennis court is under construction or being removed!
I absolutely love this park. It's so clean and quiet. There are so many things you can do with your kids. There's a basketball court, a small baseball field, a handball court, trails to walk out ride bikes and scooters. The playground area is very well shaded so kids can enjoy play time in a nice cool environment. There are also many benches and picnic areas. The small pond in the middle is very nice and tranquil. And the stream on the left side of the park is beautiful. Definitely recommend going here.
Nice grassy area and beautiful blooming trees in the spring
Update: visited this location in the fall and really enjoyed the foliage. Awesome place to practice photography, take a stroll or just relax next to the lake.
