Great field for all different sports. Turf and lights. It's beautiful.
honestly, the pool was alright. However, the staff weren’t. The staff at the entrance were NOT friendly at all! Especially the lifeguards. There was this one lifeguard that didn’t let ANY of the families have a good time. At one point, we let one of the children go underwater and try and hold their breath, and the lifeguard reprimanded us for it! If the child couldn’t hold their breath, then he would just come right back up, no worries. Basically, you couldn’t even breathe without her saying something. Shaking my head.
Germonds Park in West Nyack, NY, is an absolute gem! This park offers a perfect blend of nature and recreational activities, making it an ideal spot for people of all ages. The expansive green spaces are perfect for picnics, walking, or just relaxing. The playgrounds are well-maintained, and there’s plenty of space for kids to run and play safely. The trails are scenic and easy to navigate, providing a peaceful escape for joggers or those who enjoy a casual stroll.
What stands out the most is the clean, well-kept environment, and the wide range of activities available. From tennis courts to sports fields, you’ll never run out of things to do. It’s also a great place for dog owners, as the park is dog-friendly, allowing pets to enjoy the outdoors as well. The staff is always friendly, and the community vibe is welcoming.
Whether you’re looking to get some exercise, spend quality time with family, or simply unwind, Germonds Park is the place to be. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area!
Pool is a little dirty but park is overall good for tons of activities such as baseball, basketball and swimming etc. There is a small children s play area and restrooms are right next to play area. There are several places for grilling. Overall, good for nice day out. Good luck
Three awesome pools. Wading pool for kids up to age seven. Olympic sized pool for playing and doing laps. Deep pool for diving and large water slide.
Only negative is the aged bathrooms, but you cant really complain for $10 entry fee ($8 for children, free for seniors)
