Pastor James lecci is the best ,and truly on fire for our lord. I moved to NC and do miss him and his preaching very much. His wife has a voice of an angel. I'm very thankful for all that he has taught me while present in his church. You feel the presence of God in his church.

There needs to be sensible guidelines during COVID-19 for worship. Maintaining a distance of six feet is in compliance with Federal, New York State and Suffolk County Department of Health regulations. Wearing a mask is necessary when being in close proximity to a human.

City On A Hill wants us to wear masks in addition to being six feet apart while worshiping (singing) yet restaurants have no such restrictions or else one would need to find an alternative orifice to assimilate food. I cannot use an alternate outlet to project my voice unto the Lord. That would be obscene and certainly a violation of some other health code. For some people, one cannot effectively sing wearing a mask due to the greater air intake which is needed. Conversely, air intake problems may be due to comorbidity (i.e. emphyszema). COVID-19 is a respiratory disease, yet they removed their masks to take communion. Ponder that for a moment. Tip: Don't sneeze while ingesting the wafer.

COAHCC is still learning how to sensibly adapt to the "pandemic" and to begin again outreach missions to the hungry and homeless...which they are not doing. They closed their soup kitchen (way before COVID), but two ladies I interviewed could not give a valid reason for doing so. Maybe it is due to more teachers attending there than roaches living in a Bronx tenement. They like classrooms, uniform and predictable. Outreach requires dealing with some unpredictable people, some who do not wear Chanel, of which some may even have "issues". School districts can be excessively legalistic. Teachers carry that infected mindset with them to churches.

I attended four Sundays in a row, yet many people did not even know I had visited. How could they? We are herded to our seats by overzealous ushers. The meeting space is the size of a chapel in a funeral home, but without the nice plush carpet, upholstered seats, and corpses who no longer sing.

On my last visit I could not see the monitors to know what the lyrics were to hymns I have never heard. They handed me off to another usher who showed me "my seat" and I said nothing because it was rush hour at five minutes prior to service beginning.

(An amusing side note: Jesus did not screen anyone when feeding the multitudes, according to the Scriptures, yet they had leprosy everywhere...and dirty feet. Restaurants don't screen this way or their doors would permanently close. Many have indeed closed.)

From the very first week I attended the service, I knew God had lead me to this church. This is a great church full of loving people lead by pastors who truly seek God's will.
