Great cuts every time. Amazing owner and barbers that are extremely welcoming. Grab a drink or a coffee and relax as you get the cut and shave you wanted. Highly recommended!
I was paying over $100 for a trim in Williamsburgh, and thought it was about time to be done with that. Found this place on a recommendation from Reddit, looked into the reviews and gave it a shot.
Scheduled a haircut with Stacey, who is the owner of the shop, through their online booking portal. As soon as I came in, I was greeted with a professional handshake, and a sit down for shampoo and conditioner. I showed her a picture of the length I wanted, and she exceeded my expectations. Even did some light layering on the back (whatever that means).
It ended with a hot face towel and a light massage on my shoulders and neck, cleanup around the sideburns and back neck.
All for $35. Unreal. What a steal and I will not be going anywhere else. Highly recommend.
Melissa at Cleaverz is the best. I have never in my life had a better haircut. She has been exclusively cutting my hair for 5 years. I won’t go anywhere else. The quality and experience of Cleaverz set the bar so high I feel bad for competitors. If you haven’t had this fantastic experience. Get it Book an appointment and try it out. You won’t regret.
Melissa cut my son's hair exactly as I asked. Best cut ever. Stacey (the owner)figured out I am the wife of one of her regular customers and asked if I wanted to schedule him in before she goes away on vacation. On line she didn't have any openings, but said she would fit him in. Very considerate! Every customer there was enjoying their experience and it really has an atmosphere of community.
I've come here off and on for about a year, and have always been happy with my cut. I generally get a fade, and I've had Melissa and Gail work on my hair, and both are professional and do a great job. The cut is a little more expensive than I've usually liked to pay, but it comes with a drink and hot towel massage, and they're open until 8pm on Wednesdays, which really helps with my NYC commuting lifestyle.
