Been comming here for a few weeks now and I have to say, amazing and helpful staff, everything is always being constantly cleaned, wide parking lot, although I have to say it does get cold, but overall great place

Great library. Friendly; helpful staff. Lots of programs, informative events for all ages. Use of computers, copy, and fax also available to guests. Very clean facilities. Coffee and snack designated area to meet, sit, and chat. Come and enjoy browsing thru the expansive reading material. Also, offer drop off of used batteries and collect donations of canned food for human consumption and pets. There is a monthly schedule of movies played.. The grounds are meticulously attended for the enjoyment of the public and beautifully crafted metal sculptures throughout, as well as many painted stones and benches making the gardens a nice place to take a stroll, sit and enjoy the sun. Lastly, there is a little green wooden structure "pantry" set up for the community where you can drop off a can or two of food or pick up as needed. Nice toughtful, touch!

Such a great library. Libraries were always boring when I was a kid. Now there’s always some type of activity for the kids and the book selection is excellent. The staff is always friendly and ready to help.

I was very sad to leave my old library, Middle Country Public Library, as I was always told that most other libraries on Long Island do not compare... well, Comsewogue is a close runner up! After my fiancée and I moved into the area I was delighted to see how bright and cheery the library atmosphere was, how much there was to do, and what to look forward to when we start a family. 😊
