On June 13, 2023, I tore my acl and partially tore my mcl. July 19, 2023, I have a routine acl repair using my hamstring. I have an infection shortly after surgery and struggled to recover. I had 2 MUA within the next few months to help brake up my scare tissue. With intense physical therapy and hours of home exercise I was still not gaining strength. I started to go to the gym and hired a personal trainer but my leg just decreased significantly in range of motion, stability, strength, and size. I was told at about of 16 months post op that I could possibly have a nerve injury. It was determined after a EMG and discussion from my surgeon that I have femoral neuropathy due to inoperative tourniquet usage. One story short- ish I struggled to find a surgeon who would operate after an inoperative surgical procedure had failed. One that would accept work man’s comp. Knew how to do the surgery. I was extremely frustrated to say the least. I thought I was dead in the water destined to not have a fix. This was till I came across Dr. Courtney Pendleton. She finally said the three little letter word I could only dream of YES!!! She actually listened to me and has been amazing to me. Her wonderful office staff Stephine is the BEST she answers all my questions and yes I ask a lot of questions. I could not be happier. Dr. Pendleton is one of the best Neurosurgeon on Long Island. Dr. Pendleton did the surgery in regard to my foot. The diagnosis, treatment and care was excellent. I highly recommend her and her staff

Being but a humble academic philosopher turned strength coach for seniors, I’m not in a position to comment on the excellence of Dr. Pendleton’s surgical technique.

However, I can say her “bedside manner” is first class! She was encouraging while also setting realistic expectations for recovery. She answered my every question and addressed each of my concerns.

I recommend her without reservation and I’m very grateful to her for her expertise in helping me with my drop foot symptoms. She and her staff made preparing for and recovering from the procedure utterly seamless.

Dr Pendleton is one of the best. She communicates well and she provides great care. The office staff is polite and professional. My appointments have been scheduled with ease and they are often running on time.

The staff from the beginning was absolutely a pleasure. The nurse was very understanding and the Dr Peddleton was a complete pleasure to interact with. She had excellent bed side manners and easily to converse with. Thank you so much for the great experience during my rough time
