This is a well overdue review of Dr. Kitaj and I hope this helps folks out there make up their mind when looking for a neurologist. -That actually knows what she’s doing. Trust me, with my bag of issues I’ve seen and spoken to (and been treated by) 35 of the “top” neurologist in the tri-state area.

Back in 2020, I was diagnosed with a stroke and a brain tumor. If it wasn’t for Dr. Kitaj’s experience and straight up intelligence, I wouldn’t be alive to write this review.

During the Covid lockdown, Dr. Kitaj made time every day to check on my progress until I was able to get the MRI done, which of course I blew off until my head felt like it was going to explode.

Dr. Kitaj based on her video calls with Me was able to remotely diagnose what was happening prior to me getting the MRI.

I truly owe this lady my life.

She went out of her way and called me on a Sunday to formulate a plan for the brain surgery and everything to follow. If it weren’t for her impeccable experience and close ties to some amazing folks in the medical community, I wouldn’t be alive.

Thank you Dr. Kitaj (if you ever read this). Still trying to figure out a way to pay you back for all you’ve done for me. To anyone else that might be reading this, don’t take my word for it, go find out for yourself. She a brilliant Doctor and she single handedly proved it in my life. Hope she’s able to help ya’ll out.

Dr. Kitaj is an amazing holistic neurologist, who really looks at different aspects of symptoms and context to help define the best course of action. After decades of suffering from daily migraines I can say that under her guidance I can count with one hand the amount of days I have a migraine in a month.

I sought treatment from Dr. Kitaj after several months of experiencing strange and debilitating head pain and pressure that was interfering with my life. In one visit, I had some clear direction as to the nature of my issues, and was given the necessary steps to start alleviating my very frustrating condition. Dr. Kitaj and her nurses are compassionate, thorough, and professional, and their care always leaves me feeling hopeful and positive. In additional to being given helpful medication and homeopathic alternatives, I was referred to another gifted physician whose talents are complimentary to Dr. Kitaj’s, and the combination of their care regimens has been extremely successful for me. I am feeling like myself again after six months of pain, anxiety and depression. Dr. Kitaj truly cares for the well-being or her patients, and she is kind and down to earth practitioner to whom I am forever grateful.
