If it wasn’t for Dr. Beck I wouldn’t be alive today. I went through a very difficult break up, I was extremely depressed and thought about bad things..> I wanted out.
Although I usually see Dr. Beck once a week, during this time he called me on a daily basis and we spoke briefly. This was enough to prevent me from following through. I’ve gotten my life back in order and I’m doing much better thanks to him.

When I began treatment I was suffering from anxiety and depression that was frequently leading to self-destructive behavior. It was explained to me that I would be talking about the events and people in my past who provoked those feelings, but that Dr. Beck would not react to me in the way that people who had caused my anxiety and depression reacted to me in the past. Because of this, as I continued to talk things out, my anxiety and depression levels decreased and my overall functioning in life improved.
