I had a painful tooth that needed a root canal asap! I was lucky to be referred to East Hills Orthodontics by my wife’s Periodontist. They luckily had an opening for me the same day! They took X-rays to verify that a root canal was truly required, and then took care of it quickly and almost painlessly! I had another root canal about 10 years ago that took two visits and many more hours to perform. My visit took less than two hours. My anesthesia has worn off now and I am totally pain free!!! It is such a relief after enduring pain for several days. I am so glad I found them!!!

I went to East Hills Endodontics in Roslyn Heights for a consultation, fully expecting to hear that I’d need a second root canal — or even worse, an extraction. I was anxious, but the moment I arrived, Christina and Lynne at the front desk made me feel completely at ease with their warm welcome and professionalism.
Dr. Roxene Gascoigne was absolutely amazing. She took the time to listen to my concerns and carefully reviewed my case using her state-of-the-art radiology equipment. To my absolute relief, she discovered that what looked suspicious on earlier images wasn’t an infection or a failed root canal at all — it was simply new bone growth!
I was beyond grateful for her honesty, expertise, and conservative approach. Instead of jumping straight to an unnecessary procedure, she gave me peace of mind and a clear understanding of what was really going on.
A huge thank-you also to Vanessa, Dr. Gascoigne’s assistant, for her kindness and support during the visit. The entire team works together beautifully and truly puts patient care first.

I had the absolute best experience at east hills endodontics. I had to have an emergency root canal. I was in excruciating pain, and they managed to squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon. First of all, the front desk employees were fantastic and so accommodating! Bradis, the dental assistant was amazing! He was so attentive to my needs, and he made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. From offering me headphones to listen to music during the procedure, to a blanket when I got cold, Bradis made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Gascoigne was wonderful. She was thorough and gentle. I felt zero pain during the procedure. Dr. Gascoigne and Bradis, together as a team, worked so quickly and efficiently. Bradis explained aftercare in depth to me and made sure I went home with no pain. I couldn’t have had a better experience and I would 100 percent recommend a friend or family member to go here!
