Friendly welcoming people makes the city feel like a small town. Easygoing and casual family friendly and affirming good teaching loving thy neighbor as well diverse . Worshiping in English and Spanish.
Everyday Church is THE more loving welcoming church I’ve ever been apart of. As a former evangelical and someone who has been hurt by the Church ECC has been such a safe and healing place for me. Everyone is so kind and loving and the pastoral staff is amazing. If you are looking for a Church in NYC check it out!!
Everyday Church is a group of people who care deeply about people - especially anyone who has ever been excluded, or hurt by churches in the past. We're a place for people who may not feel like they fit in church. We love God and we love people, and we're constantly working to be more inclusive, particularly of those on the margins. We're not perfect. And we don't pretend that we are. We're real, everyday people, who struggle with the daily pressures and tragedies of life. At ECC it's ok to not be ok. We're also friends- and very friendly. We do life together, go camping together, we march together, we work for justice together, we learn about God together - and we party together. I'm so grateful that this church exists. It's such a tremendous part of who I am that I couldn't imagine my life without it.
