Have been here a few times now and have never had a bad time. The cost isn't too bad. Only down side is there is no other food allowed by the pool area other than the concession stand, that can get pricey. Still a good family fun spot.

FDR Pool is one of my favorite spots—I’ve been there so many times, and I never get tired of it. The pool is huge, super spacious, and always clean. One of the best parts is the kiddie pool, which isn’t just a small area—it’s a whole separate pool with sprinklers, right next to the main pool. It’s perfect for families and super fun for the kids.

The atmosphere is always great, and there’s plenty of space to swim, relax, and enjoy the day. I love the overall setup.

The only reason I’m giving it 4.5 stars is because of the food prices. The food stand charges a lot for just a little bit of food, which can be disappointing when you’re spending the day there. Also, there’s now a $3 entrance fee, which is a new rule—just something to keep in mind if you’re planning a visit.

Still, it’s absolutely worth it for the experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, fun, and spacious pool day!

Nice pool. So many don't do makes it a bummer to go to this pool. Food at the concession stand is pricey. Park staff is accommodating. The State Park itself could do well with better infrastructure such as working water fountains, perhaps bike stations for cyclists to fix their bikes when traveling into the park. Perhaps how about some signage detailing what pedestrians can find in that park such as natures animals, birds and other wildlife.
