I worked with Liv for about 5-6 months and had a phenomenal experience. I loved the knowledge she brings and the expertise in nutrition. I personally started work with her to build a good solid nutrition plan for myself and also to know what my macros should be.
I would recommend Liv to anyone that’s looking to loose weight or even get a solid nutrition plan to meet there fitness or weight loss goals.
What I learned from working with Liv in the last 3 years is invaluable. She carefully listened and partnered with me to determine a nutrition plan that catered to my personal needs + goals. We had weekly check-ins to discuss the pros and cons and made adjustments where needed.
She’s patient, reliable, trustworthy, easy to connect with and to this day, I still lean on her for guidance and support!
Working with Liv was an outstanding experience for me. Liv brings such a well-rounded perspective to the client / nutritionist relationship that is based on years of experience as a chef, athlete, nutritionist, and genuine person. She is realistic about setting goals while being able to nudge you toward better choices and improved outcomes. I am amazed at how well she works with her clients' likes/dislikes/idiosyncracies. It's not an easy task! She preaches and models the idea of "progress, not perfection," because Liv knows that's how long-term plans become realistic, attainable, and most importantly sustainable. She is a wonderful listener; her weekly check-in emails are very encouraging and full of information; and she is always available when you are in need of suggestions and support and sometimes a new idea for how to get in that last 10% of the protein you are missing.
For those considering working with Liv, I recommend the following: 1) Approach your relationship with an open mind - there's a decent chance Liv is going to tell you that you aren't eating ENOUGH! It may sound crazy, but chances are it is true. (for reference, Liv took up my caloric intake by ~25% and I dropped my % body fat about 5-6 points while gaining muscle mass without changing my workout habits). 2) Be willing to work with her, because that is how you will get results...and it will take some tweaking and time to 'get it right,' and even when it's 'right' it still requires tweaking (again, Liv is great for the continual tweaks and suggestions) 3) Lean on Liv's expertise, trust her experience - it's very good and very approachable. 4) I recommend one-on-one coaching - that way you will benefit from everything Liv has to offer as your professional nutritionist. 5) Be patient - nothing will happen overnight, but it will happen quickly if you work with Liv honestly and genuinely. And that way you will create something that is sustainable for yourself for the long term.
I have worked with Liv for a while know and I have been super happy not only with her close attention to my diet, detailed discussion of my eating habit but also for her passion to make sure I am on the right path. She tailors her recommendations to my likes/dislikes and habits. So far I am down 22 pounds.
Liv is an amazing coach and ally if you are looking to have someone help with macros or nutrition coaching in general. She always goes above and beyond nutrition advice sharing recipes, workouts and articles that are relevant to me personally. Highly recommend!
