Hugged a tree. Got a squirrel bone from an owl pellet. Would recommend.

One of the most beautiful spots on Long Island. Well-marked trails with towering American beech trees.

WARNING - Due to Laurel Hollow's exclusionary zoning laws which ban street parking in the entire village, I received a $75 ticket for parking at the end of cul-de-sac to go on a nature walk. There are NO legal parking spots at the preserve entrance on White Oak Tree Road, which is quite shameful. Park at the Cordelia Hepburn Cushman Preserve and walk to the preserve boundary on White Birch Road.

This preserve maintained by the North Shore Land Alliance is inside a private community. Limited parking. The trail is well marked on a large property with beautiful trees. Some hills and light hiking. Lovely scenery. Would recommend.

Its a dreamy place. Specially in the winter with the snow, the houses in the woods looks like snow palaces. Didnt got any sight of fox although 🤔

Beautiful preserve. Not a lot of parking. You park at the end of a residential road in a cul de sac.
