We did takeout. It was ready on time. Still hot. Very very delicious. It looks nice inside. I would go eat in.

I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 3. I'm sorry but we went there last night and the food is just not 5 star worthy. My bean burger was a frozen bean burger that tasted horrible. Very small as well as the burger my husband got. Sweet potato fries were blah. Any other restaurant serves them with either horseradish or sour cream. These were plain. The plates are very strange. Very thin, flat, and long but not wide enough to hold the food on so whatever fell from the sandwich went either on the table, lap or floor. The price was a bit much for the portion size. I don't think we'll be going back. Original review: We met up with my relatives for lunch on Sunday. We had a great time! We weren't rushed, we got to visit with everyone which was nice because we don't get to see each other as often as we should. Prices were reasonable, staff was accommodating, food was good. 4 stars on the food only because my cousin and I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was really overcooked. I probably could have used it as a weapon, lol. But, not the end of the world! We ate half so they gave us half off. We took the other half home. I mixed mayo with Chipotle sauce, added more tomatoes (there was a drop of Chipotle sauce and a half of slice of tomato on it). I let it sit in the fridge until Wednesday, warmed it up and it was fine. I would definitely go back again.

absolutely love coming here for breakfast and lunch. Food always surpasses my expectations, Travis is an amazing server, and the atmosphere is excellent. It can be hard to find quality places with good food AND great workers, but this place truly has it all!

We decided to pick up Thanksgiving this year as opposed to cooking at home, and I'm so glad we did!! What we received was advertised as a 4 person feast (turkey, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, stuffing, gravy, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce), but these portions would easily feed 6 adults! So delicious, easy, and everything we wanted. We also got a bacon quiche and pumpkin pie. Total was around $150 with tax, which you can't beat. Cannot recommend this place enough!

@fromthegroundup.cafe_ Highland, NY: Had the pleasure of dining at From The Ground Up Cafe, in Highland this week. One of the most unique cafes I’ve been to in recent memories. From the Ground Up, is located deep inside a 55+ senior living townhouse community. It was a little tricky to find driving through the different buildings in the complex. Once we figured it out, we were greated with a very large dining area that was super clean with big windows and plenty of natural light.

They have a few cases of baked goods and coffee, as well as weekly specials. One look at the menu and I knew my order. Shakshuka (traditionally African or Middle Eastern) is a dish of eggs poached in a spiced tomato sauce with onions, peppers, garlic, chickpeas, and kale served with bread to soak up that wonderful red sauce and egg yolk. At $14, this was a steal. The Rueben and fries were pretty standard and my iced latte was decent. Finished things off with a chocolate chip cookie skillet topped with vanilla ice cream. Had plenty of leftovers to bring home.

They do a lot of catering and use the cafe as a home base for their 2 food trucks. The chef is a CIA grad. Seems with the 100s of townhouses, they have a built in customer base. They offer some pretty standard stuff like paninis, waffles, omelettes, and burgers. Next time, I want to try the shepherds pie, fish and chips, or chicken and waffles.
