Have regularly taught a Chess class/Summer Camp here. Known as "The Cottages" locally, they are maintained very well, centrally located and ample parking. Most importantly staffed by friendly and hard-working employees, who have always gone above and beyond to make sure the kids that attend have a great experience. They have printed out rosters for us, and cheerfully even supplied an air conditioner for one of the rooms we used. Always look forward to our activities in Garden City Rec, a 1st class operation top to bottom, highest recommendation!
Easy to see right off of Stewart Avenue servicing Garden City and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Great for families. Police check the park regularly to keep everyone feeling safe. We will definitely be going back.
Visit this place because my 6th grader had a game with her AAU team. The park is very nice and the people in the area were friendly.
Nice courts, little ventilation. Needs a mop and lemon juice wash down.
