Great, large playground with ample parking, nearby restrooms, and an EV charging station. The ground level stuff for 2-5 needs updated / diversified, but it’s still fun for the tiny ones. I appreciate that a lot of the ground is rubber and there aren’t any unsafe stone or metal structures for the 2-5 crowd.
It is not fully enclosed, but there is a gate around the majority of it.

A wonderful place to have a picnic, barbecue or just a family time. They have big picnic areas with tables, barbecue areas, playgrounds for kids, a lake, walking and biking trails, and a carousel. Parking fee is $8 (card or cash). You can rent a swan boat ($80/hour) or kayak ($50/hour).
Nice area to spend a Sunday morning. There's a large parking on site and a few sectors of the park to stay at.
I’ve been here before with my son who was probably 4 when I brought him and he loves this playground!! He’s 5 now and I’m sure he would love to come back. This is better than the average city playground in NYC for sure. It’s definitely a great destination to bring kids to get their energy out in a beautiful state park, and very close to a beautiful lake!
