I have been using Dr Hansraj over the past 20+ years I work and rehabilitative exercise and found his clients glowing reviews way over the top from what I had been experiencing regarding much of the local medical community. Following a car accident I had to have surgery on my cervical vertebrae I ,of course, Turned to Dr Hansraj for help. Not only with the surgery a great success I walked away weeks later pain free back to work and cannot be happier that our paths crossed. Unlike many on here I can address his work as both a patient and a clinician. Dr. Hansraj ‘s problem-solving approach is both practical and effective. Patience appreciate his availability and presence. He utilizes and keeps well inform as to the latest trends and technology. He is not only a great doctor and resource but a caring human being who always put his patience first. I am happy to write this review and should’ve done so much sooner he is one of a handful doctors in the Hudson Valley that I refer to without reservation .

When I started to see Dr. Hansraj I was pretty much unable to walk more than 3 feet. I was experiencing severe sciatica and right leg pain along with lower back pain. On May 24, Dr. Hansraj performed a decompression and an infusion a bone from L1 to S2. What a fantastic feeling to be able to ambulate, without pain, for the first time in 4 years. This surgery is not for the weak of spirit. But I will always be grateful for the ability to walk again without the severe pain I experienced beforehand. I put all my faith in Dr. Hansraj and I was not disappointed. I’m now 12 weeks post op and expect to be back to all my daily activities soon. The entire staff in the office was always kind and went out of their way to accommodate all my appointment and medication needs. If I was able , I’d give them 10 stars. I would recommend Dr. Hansraj and his staff to anyone.

The reviews do not lie. Dr Hansraj is the type of confident friendly doctor you want to work with when facing surgery. I went to Hansraj for another opinion after being told I needed surgery from another couple of surgeons. The doctor explained my condition to me so crystal clear it was amazing after seeing other doctors that made my head spin. He makes sure you know what he is talking about and will even use a visual aid to make sure you know what you are looking at when reviewing any scans. Both of my feet were numb, shooting pain down both of my legs, unable to control toes, dropped foot, walking was extremely difficult. After surgery, every single symptom is gone and I can walk perfectly fine Weeks after I feel better than I have in years. The Doctor truly cares and wants to make you better all around. he is laid back and not your typical doc (in a good way) if you need a doc or are seeking another opinion on surgery, go check out Dr. Hansraj. It's worth a long drive to see a top doctor when facing surgery outside of NYC.
Don't judge the doctor based off the waiting room.

My husband recently had his very surgery ever with Dr Hansraj. Prior to meeting Dr Hansraj and his amazing team, my husband was petrified. They made the whole experience stress free and helped my husband every step of the way. He is healing quickly and I has had minimal pain. We had the final follow up appointment today and I cannot that Dr Hansraj and his team enough for everything and for the first time ever I think I will miss going to appointments at a doctors office. Many years ago Dr Hansraj also operated on my 80 something year old Grandmother when every other doctor refused. Before the surgery she walked around looking at her toes and no one would help her until she finally went to see Dr Hansraj. He performed the surgery perfectly and she was able to walk straight and healed quickly. I cannot thank him enough for giving my Grandmother a much better quality of life in her final years. Thank you so much for all that you have done for my Grandmother and my husband.

Meeting Dr. Hansraj and being under his treatment was one of the best medical decisions that I made concerning my neck and shoulder injury. I've sustained my injury in 1994 and have gone to several doctors for treatment throughout the years. During my last flair-up, my internal medicine physician recommended Dr. Hansraj, and I was a little concerned about driving an hour from my home for treatment, especially with the amount pain that I was in. In the past, doctors have recommended surgery and I declined because I'm a single family mom and couldn't afford to take off 10 months to a year from work. Well, Dr. Hansraj's treatment plan went extremely well and I was back to my normal activities within a short period of time. I highly recommend Dr. Hansraj and yes, if ever needed treatment for spinal injury in the future Dr. Hansraj is my guy. He is well informed, well mannered and sincere when treating his patients.
