Beautiful views and a nice level walking path that really gives you a unique perspective on Manhattan and the river. Watch the city from the peace of the raised walkway, observe helicopters and boats moving around the city and get a great perch to appreciate the skyline. Easy access without stairs from 34th street.
Great time walking along the High Line. If you like walking around with fresh air and a garden feel this is the best place in the city to visit. Not to mention that you have multiple places to exit and visit even more of the city. We stopped by Chelsea Market as well
Better than I expected. Gorgeous walk way with plenty of areas to sit and buy a drink. Clean and well stocked WC facilities. Plenty of art to see along the way. You get to see the city from different angles you dont normally see. Well worth doing.
Inspiring story and lovely walk. it’s amazing to see the variety in architecture from above street level and so close.
We walked the high line early in the morning before the crowds arrived. It's a very good walk with the well kept shrubbery which gives the city a different perspective. Locals use it as well for running and having their lunch. It's a credit to the city. There are a few high end shops and restaurants that you can stop at on the lower streets. It was good to see a couple of the old meat markets still in operation.
