Most of my family have their funerals at Humiston or Loucks since I was a little kid my great grandpa who was called the gravedigger dug lots of graves for Humiston and Loucks till 1985 when he could walk up the hill anymore . My Dad Donald Markle would drive him up an help him dig graves . The family that grew up in the house the Rock’s would be happy to hear that their place has still the compassion and hospitality that was there when I was a young child. If you need of place this is still to this day it is warm and Stacy makes you feel comfortable.
Stacey made sure I was taken care of during a most difficult emotional time, and made navigating my choices easy. Very thankful I chose Humiston!

My family and I have been using Humiston Funeral Home since I can remember. They are warm, friendly, caring people. It’s never about the money. It is always about you the client. They made my experience with my father very simple. They are patient and willing to work with you for whatever you need. Months after my father‘s passing, they reached out just to see how the family and I were doing. That is very professional. Hopefully not anytime soon however, I will continue to use them. Geoff and Heather have handled many of our family’s funerals, including my mother, father, brother and sister in-law. They are incredibly empathetic, professional, and take care of every detail at a time when it feels impossible to make decisions. We have never felt pressured to do or buy anything, but they gave us excellent advice and guidance on everything- services, flowers, transportation, notices, and so many other things. They were very flexible about where and how we wanted to have our service. Geoff also helped to guide us on how to notify banks, agencies, etc., and took care of the certificate paperwork. I have had experiences with other funeral home owners with other friends and family who have passed, and Humiston is heads above them. I highly recommend them.
