Beautiful park with the best views of Manhattan. Lots of greenery, with surrounding outdoor activities/areas for just about everyone, pets included. Easily accessible from the highway or R/W trains.
Hunter’s Point South Park is one of the best spots in Long Island City to relax and take in amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. The park is beautifully designed with plenty of walking paths, open green spaces, and seating areas to just sit and enjoy the scenery. It’s peaceful during the day, perfect for a jog or a quiet stroll, and in the evening the view of the city lights across the East River is unbeatable.
I love this park. It has incredible views of the Manhattan skyline and has so much to do. Between its playground and fields, this park is just an experience you will never forget for your trip to LIC. Through rain, sun, or snow, the beauty of this park remains unmatched. It is unforgettable and a must do.

This stunning waterfront park offers breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, making it one of the best spots in the city for photos, relaxation, or just soaking in the beauty of New York.
One of the best things about this park is its vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're visiting on a weekend or a weekday, there's always something happening—from live DJ sets to outdoor yoga classes that draw crowds looking to unwind and have fun. The energy here is infectious, and it’s a fantastic place to meet new people or enjoy quality time with loved ones.
For those who love exploring, the park offers easy access to the East River Ferry, where you can hop on a boat and take a scenic tour. You can even stop under the Brooklyn Bridge and explore more of the city’s iconic architecture. The park itself is a masterpiece, blending nature’s beauty with stunning urban design—lush greenery, modern walkways, and eye-catching skyscrapers create a picture-perfect setting.

The park is thoughtfully designed with something for everyone: fantastic playgrounds for kids, adult fitness equipment, a dedicated dog run, and even a basketball court.
I especially loved the waterside promenade for leisurely strolls and the unique cantilevered platform that provides an even more stunning vantage point. The picnic terraces are perfect for enjoying a meal with that incredible backdrop. It's clear that this park was created with the community in mind, offering a clean, safe, and vibrant space for relaxation and recreation.
