These women are artists , with a wonderful sense of humor and a very warm atmosphere.. My daughters and I are always at Hype. They did my oldest daughters hair for prom and it was as beautiful as she is .. love these gals !! I would never go anywhere else!!

I just want to say I have been to numerous salons on LI and when I discovered Hype down the street I decided to take a chance.
I was scheduled with Cathy Novellino and upon my arrival I was there not even 3 minutes and Cathy greeted me with her great friendly spirit!!
And I must say this is the best my hair has ever looked!
All in all the salon is quaint, clean and I will be coming back again and again!

My wife has been coming to this location for a while now and she recently got me to go here to get my haircut. I was a little leery at first because I was the only male inside to get a haircut. But the hairdresser made me feel very comfortable and even told me that they do have men come to get a haircut. They were very professional and did a great job styling my hair. I even bring my son here now. They keep the salon very clean and everyone who works there is very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I definitely recommend this salon for a good haircut

Inpressed!! Super clean place. They are so on top of making sure to stop the spread of covid-19. The germ freak in me was so happy to see them sanitize everything and temp checks! Totally in love with my hair too. Renee, did a fabulous job on my full highlights today. Everyone was so friendly too. Absolutely recommend this place! I love my hair!
