A chance to experience Jamaican food
I ate at the food truck in front of 37 Wall St NY10005.
I was debating between Jerk Chicken and Pork,
but I tried the chicken at the
staff's recommendation.
The chicken was tender with barbecue sauce, and the rice was seasoned so it tasted like mild fried rice.
They had fried bananas, which was a real kick.👍
It was about $17-$19, but it was a little lacking in flavor for the price.
T.M.I🤫They pour sauce on the chicken, but I think it tastes better if cyou put a lot on it,
so I recommend asking for extra sauce.
My first time getting from the truck today in Fresh Meadows. The food is hot and fresh. Looks like they are only here on weekends with a nice menu to choose from. For the price I think they should add a few more oxtails to the plate. Polite people waiting to serve you with a smile. I will be getting food from them again. Also separate the salad from the hot food.
Jamrock Jerk in Jamaica, Queens is a takeout-only gem with seriously delicious food. I ordered the oxtail, which came with rice and beans and a side salad. Everything was flavorful, tender, and well-seasoned. I paired it with their watermelon lemonade, which was super refreshing and hit the spot.
Even better than the food was the amazing service. The staff was incredibly friendly, walked me through the menu, and answered all my questions with patience and enthusiasm. My order was ready very quickly, which made the whole experience even smoother. The ambiance was very relaxing and casual.
While they have a storefront, there’s no dine-in option, and parking can be tough in the area. But the food cart is easy to spot on the sidewalk and you really can’t miss it when driving by.
If you’re in the neighborhood and craving authentic Caribbean flavors, this place is absolutely worth the stop.
I’ve been hearing about them for a while so I had to check them out. The chicken was fresh off the grill, the rice and peas was flavorful and delicious. Plantains were cooked to perfection. Presentation was nice and clean. The professional touches of their logo on everything is nice.
Fresh and delicious food. The jerk chicken is a large generous portion and comes with flavorful rice and beans and salad. You could easily share an order with a friend. They have their own in-house lemonades as well. The passion fruit lemonade is delicious. Here's a couple of hard working, proud owners that deserve the love from the community that they get. Support this small business and enjoy some great food.
