Kingston Bake Shop 🥧👨🏿🍳🥯 is my go-to spot for a solid, reliable breakfast in Crown Heights. I usually get the breakfast special, which includes, Israeli salad, fried potatoes, and eggs as an omelette, or sunny-side-up. You also get a roll (you can pick mezonos, toasted, buttered) plus a small tea or coffee. They've got hazelnut, French roast, regular, and more.
The service is fast, which I appreciate. Customer service is pretty mid -but unfortunately, that's kind of standard for Crown Heights.
We had excellent food , the customer service was impeccable and we looked forward to our breakfast every morning during vacation at Kingston Bake Shop where we felt right at home. We hope to visit again soon.
Love from St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Absolutely incredible desserts. I came in on short notice needing desserts for s family get together, and they knocked it out of the park. Great suggestions, made some fresh pastries for the day of, and had everything ready for when i needed. Everyone at the party LOVED the pastries, cookies, and everything else. They raved how good it all was and devoured just about everything.
Got a chance to try a sandwich from them today which is priced at $5 and was OK but not one I would get again. They also did not have bagels anymore they only had rolls this morning. Their prices are pretty good and the place gets quite busy at times.
Kingston Bake Shop is my go to breakfast/lunch spot. Their breakfast special is such a good deal (the potatoes are legendary) and they make me my perfect egg sandwich with onions, cheese and hot sauce on a whole wheat bagel. For a small place, there’s good hot meal options, but they also have sandwiches and salads for on the go. Everything super fresh and delicious.
Also, can’t finish this review without mentioning the baked goods. Made fresh every day (so be warned they do sometimes run out of stuff) my faves are the cherry turnovers and the bourekas. But really, all of the baked goods are *chefs kiss*.
Truly love this place. And if you can make it here in December for Chanukah, they make the best fresh donuts daily that you’ll find anywhere on the eastern coast. Hands down.
