They do a fine enough job tuning and are very quick to turn around skis. They've even given a discount every so often. But the one gentleman that I'm assuming is the owner is almost always wasted when I'm there. I've seen him drinking in his car in front of the shop only to walk in when I get out. It's pretty uncomfortable to be around.
Razor Tune: Fair price, timely service, custom race tuning. To tune my race skis cost less than other ski shops. I dropped my Skis off at 4pm on a Sunday. They'll be ready by Monday morning. That's fast! The guy at Razor Tune even checked the weather forecast so he could customize a wax that would be best suited for race day. At another ski shop wanted more money and it would have taken 10 days to tune. Thanks to Razor Tune I am getting it done faster and less expensively. Look for the teepee on Route 23 near West Milford/Stockholm/Oak Ridge
Great shop and absolutely the place to go for their reasonably priced razor tune. The staff goes above and beyond, and i will remain a loyal customer. They also did a recent repair on a favorite board of mine that I personally thought was not repairable!
There was only one person at the shop so he clearly struggled when there were +10 people waiting to be attended (we had to wait for a long time and the group after us, even longer). The place has everything you need & it’s definitely cheaper than other places closer to the slopes. We returned the equipment about 30mins after the “return hour” (which I think was 7pm) but he cut us a slack and didnt charge extra :) probably because the shop actually closes at 8pm. Anyway, thank you!
