Tom is one knowledgeable person. His prices are comparable to other shops but what sold me on his store was his attitude and knowledge. I have used him numerous times and will continue to do so.
A friend recommended me to Oak Ridge Firearms to buy an AR lower. I was very please with the entire process. Tom is a nice guy with competitive prices. He's not like the rest of the dealers who have jacked up their prices to take advantage of the times. Smart man who will retain customers. I have since recommended a friend who recently went and bought 2 guns from him in one transaction, he said Tom was great as well and $150 cheaper than Davis Sport shop for the shotgun. From guns and ammo to topsoil and pavers, he's a one stop shop!
Tom is the man! He is incredibly knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have. Great service and prices as well.
Building is hard to find - it's literally the landscaping office and no guns are on display when you walk in.
The owner, Tom, is an amazing guy who will sit there with you and answer every single one of your questions. There were first time gun owners in there before me so I was just sitting there waiting (for 35 mins) while they asked every possible gun question ever. Tom stood there nicely and explained everything to them from the difference between rimfire and centerfire to a rundown of the popular gun companies (Glock, d&b, etc) to the different towns in NJ and how each police department is different with timing, etc. He is extremely knowledgeable and that is amazing for first timers. That might make people feel 50/50 on going to this place as a lot of people don’t want to sit there for 35 mins and listen to people ask “dumb” questions just to sit and wait in order to grab a box of .22. Anyway, the only downside I see of this place is that it’s VERY hard to find. There are no signs up on the outside and when you get on the inside don’t expect it to look like the regular gun place - it doesn’t. There’s no glass gun cases where you can see things. You have to just simply ask Tom what he’s got and narrow it down from there. I posted pictures so that you at least get an idea of where it is.
***its located INSIDE the landscaping office on the right side of the parking lot - very easy to miss!!***
I started using Tom's business late in 2018. He has a great selection of ammunition at very competitive rates. I have also used him to purchase pistols. He is quick with quotes and has given me very fair prices. I have told all my gun owning friends about his business and would recommend him to anyone in the area. He has low transfer rates too but I haven't used him for that yet. Thanks Tom!
