Lake View Cafe

I've been here for breakfast and lunch in the past week after initially discovering this gem on the internet. It's sits back off the rush. rush of everyday life in a quiet little neighborhood on the lakefront. Had eggs, bacon and toast, and my wife had a breakfast sandwich contained in a huge homemade roll. Homemade soup and sandwich again on a large Home-cooked bun was ordered for our luncheon. Food was very tasty, service was fantastic and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Great food value and will be returning soon for a home cooked evening meal. This place is best maintained as a secret, because when the word gets out you will have to wait hours to get a seat. Get. there now before it's too busy.

Food...Amazing. Service...-1. I went into the store with a allergy of dogs and was welcomed by a puppy who was cute but made me go to the hospital. Second I was assaulted by a worker because I ordered 109 dollars of turkey and I was punched/kicked and thrown out. I also saw 3 kids being verbally assulted by a counter worker, being cursed at, and yelled at. -1 service I do not reccomened

The view of the lake is stunning and makes for such a peaceful breakfast setting. We had a delicious meal (classic breakfast done right!) and loved how relaxed the vibe was. There’s also drinks and snacks available. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

My favorite deli in NY, this deli is a real Putnam County gem. The food is great, especially the bacon egg and cheese. The view in the back is a great place to sit and look at the water while you eat. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
