Long Island Tile Company

There is so much I want to say about my experience with Long Island Tile Company that I don’t know where to begin! First, I want to thank Dee, Selene, Giovanni and Joe for their endless patience with me and for their kindness and good humor through what was a very lengthy tile selection process! When I first went to Long Island Tile Company, I met Dee, who was always there to help me with my tile choices and to guide me towards what I envisioned. I wanted a certain look, and it was hard to find it. Dee was always there ready to help me find just the right tile for my kitchen floor. She gave me guidance and feedback, and never lost patience during what seemed to be an endless quest for the perfect kitchen floor. When Dee was out, Selene, Giovanni and Joe stepped in to help me, but it was always Dee who came to the rescue and saved me from making some bad choices! I cannot thank Dee enough for walking me through this process, where I ultimately ended up with a kitchen floor that is so beautiful, the designer at the kitchen remodeling company now wants to use it in her kitchen! I made so many visits to the Long Island Tile Company's showroom and borrowed more tiles than I can count, but Dee, Selene, Giovanni and Joe always welcomed me back with a smile, and never, ever made me feel like I was driving them crazy. I am grateful for that, because I was driving myself crazy! At the end of the search process, when I found the perfect tile, I still wasn't happy because I wanted a certain look, basically 12x12 octagon tiles with 3x3 inch squares in the corners. Dee told me that the tiles could be cut to make the pattern I was searching for, which I did, and it is absolutely stunning! I never gave up, and the floor I envisioned is now a reality! I am so happy and so grateful to Dee and the entire team at Long Island Tile Company for making this happen! Their professionalism, knowledge and expertise went a long way in guiding me and ultimately leading me to the perfect kitchen floor! Needless to say, I had a wonderful experience at Long Island Tile Company and I highly recommend this amazing team for all your tile needs! Without a doubt, they are the best!

It's very rare that I write a review...

But, I had to stop and thank the folks at The Long Island Tile Company - With special thanks to Giovanni.

I had brought in a sample of (very old) tile, that I needed to match (redoing a shower, not the whole bathroom) and they couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating.

I walked in at 4:00 yesterday, took home some samples to match, placed the order over the phone at 9am this morning and I have my tiles in my garage today!!

Anyone doing a kitchen/bath/powderoom/etc - I absolutely recommend these folks.

Clearly, I'm not alone - the place was buzzing with many customers/designers and everyone being given amazing attention.

To add (and to save you the trouble), I'd stay clear of the other big/fancy folks on Jericho/110/Deer Park Ave -- I went into at least 4 other stores (you know who they are, but won't give them any acknowledgement) - Not one person, in any of those stores would even get out of their chairs to help me.

Seriously, each place had at least 4-5 people sitting in a bullpen behind a big counter, chatting it up and when I asked for help they just said to look thru the displays.

The lovely folks at Long Island Tile Company have exactly the same items, less expensive, friendly, helpful, want/appreciate your business.

I was there and worked with Celine. She was a hige help and so helpful. She went out of her way to look for specific items that she thought I would like. She was sp easy to work with and absolutely no pressure! A pleasure!

The Designer Dee Richter went above and beyond the norm to assist me in not only sourcing a slate tile I was unable to find. But was most knowledgeable friendly and helpful. Thank you Tile Company for her employ.

I went to several tile stores and Long Island Tile had the best customer service, as well as a great selection. Seline was absolutely amazing! She helped me pick tiles for 2 bathrooms. She was very patient, professional and honest with telling me what would look great and what wouldn’t. I am so grateful to her for her help. I will definitely be back for future home projects!
