The salesman told me everything I wanted to hear. Then the installers showed up...and told me a completely different story. Suddenly I had to argue and negotiate all over again. Turns out the installers were a THIRD PARTY...who showed up in a rusted-out, unmarked van.

The installation was sloppy and careless. When I called the office the woman I spoke to was unprofessional, dismissive, and disinterested. She told me to talk to the installers myself. When I contracted for carpeting, I wasn't told I had to supervise the laborers on my own.

Thinking I was getting a professional installer, I didn't mind paying more than others quoted for a similar grade of carpeting. Instead, I got a HORRIBLE job with a lot of extra aggravation.

We have been using Marina Carpet for 20 Years. They are still the best carpet store around. Our first house 20 years ago was done by them and we were very happy with their salespeople and there installers. We just moved to a condo and again used Marina for all our rooms. We were under so much stress with our move and Mike, Neil and Debra were once again there for us and went above and beyond to help us once again with carpet for our new home. From the moment we called them all our carpet needs were taken care of. Mike and Neil personally came to measure and make sure everything was the way it should be fitting in our new home so it would be perfect. Debra was amazing at helping me pick paint colors. Her decorating advise was so appreciated and her advise really helped things turn out beautiful in our new condo. Marina's salesmanship, professionalism, friendliness and kindness makes them the best to work with always for all your carpet needs. The carpets they helped us choose are excellent quality and looks and fits beautifully after installation. Marina Carpet Store has to be one of the best on Long Island. We have been a customer for many years. We are having 4 rooms done and the quality of the cart is outstanding. From the salesman to the installers to Deborah at the store this is just one pleasant experience. The respect for Senior Citizens is above and beyond. Our installers Were so professional respectful and just could not do enough. The men moved furniture for us without even blinking. You will never find a carpet store better than Marina.
